10 Things Thursday | What To Do This Summer

Hey Guys!

As I said in my post yesterday, so far in the summer holidays I have been really stuck of things to do. I know I can't be the only one so I have put together a list 10 of things to do up and down the country for very little or no money so you can do something fun, interesting and new without breaking your pocket!

1. Guided city walking tours- Unfortunately limited to Bath but follow this link to the page for a potentially very informative morning out: www.visitbath.co.uk ( They get better. Honest!)

2. The Royal Academy of Music in London- They offer free concerts for you to go and watch. I don't know what kind of concerts but this one is totally free so it might be worth looking into. www.ram.ac.uk or www.nationaltheatre.org.uk have more information of timings and all of that kind of thing.

3.Houses of Parliament- You can go and watch debates or climb up big ben for free if you just talk to a local MP. This one is harder to get but is also free so go and check it out:  www.parliament.uk

4. Xscape, Milton Keynes- It is a huge indoor sports centre in guess where? Milton Keynes! (Never!) It was voted the best 'free' attraction but you have to pay to do the activities it is just free to go through the front doors! Madness but you can do indoor skydiving or indoor skiing on an artificial slope.  www.xscape.co.uk

5.The British Wildlife Centre- A very peaceful way to see over 40 native species from mice to deer in their natural habitat: The British Wildlife Centre

6. Hobbledown- It is a perfect attraction for children with many animals to see and lots of climbing frames. There is also a barn with over 14,000 square feet of fun for them two. For the older ones there is a daring aerial adventure course: Hobbledown

7. The Look Out Discovery Centre- Located in the centre of a very attractive forest with many walk trails as well as specially designed and built out bike trails of different difficulties to test all abilities. There is also an indoor centre with challenges and activities aimed at children under the age of 10. As well as a cafĂ© for adults to sit and have a bite to eat and a coffee: thelookoutdiscoverycentre

8. John Nike Leisure Centre- A large centre located in Bracknell with an ice rink (first Olympic sized ice rink in the UK) and a dry ski slope for skiing, snow boarding and sno-tubing (where you sit in donut rings and slide down the slope): http://jnlbracknell.co.uk/

9. Ripleys Believe It Or Not- An exhibition where you go through and see lots of weird, wacky and wonderful items that as it says are hard to believe are real: http://www.ripleyslondon.com/

10. The Dungeons- These dungeons are located up and down the country with the most famous one being The London Dungeons. Once you step through the doors you are going on a journey through time and its crime history. It is suggested you shouldn't take children that are under seven as some of the stages are quite scary. http://www.thedungeons.com/locations/

So I hope you like this list and it has helped you in some ways with ideas of things to do. I know the first few seem a bit boring but it is really difficult to find attractions for young people that are free and something they actually want to see. As a result I spent about two hours on this post trying to make it the best quality possible.

Tomorrow I will be reviewing 'Dawn of the Planet of the Apes' so check back for that. As well on Saturday I am going away so will have holiday related posts coming all week starting with my top 7 travel tips.

Also all week I will be daily vlogging so check out my YouTube: Emily Stanners, and please follow me on Twitter: @PicaEmxx

Welcome, Welcome, Welcome.

Hey guys!

While I am writing this it is the summer holidays so I have a lot of time and not that much to do. I was trying to come up with lots of ideas of stuff to do while on a break from school. Much easier said than done! Both my parents work pretty much all day so I have no way of getting lifts to places. (I don't want to use the bus on my own!)

While trying to come up with this list I suddenly realised that I love writing and being on my laptop, so what better to do than write a blog. As I have already mentioned I have a lot of time on my hands so will be writing most days. (I may not have enough ideas for everyday) I will be doing loads of random stuff on here. It is my space to be creative as that is what I love doing but my 'friends' don't see me like that.

Also from next week I will be daily vlogging so please go check out my YouTube channel on Saturday night! Its called Emily Stanners

It has been a really short post but as of tomorrow I will be doing much more interesting posts with (hopefully) helpful fashion, beauty and hair tips and product reviews. The only set item that I will be doing is movies reviews every Friday of the latest Hollywood/Blockbuster movies. Please check back as often as you can and follow this blog.
